Most people expect to fail.  That is an unfortunate reality.  Those who succeed and reach their income and life goals do just the opposite.  They expect to succeed.  They think only of success.  Do they fail?  Yes.  All the time.  Because they expect to succeed, however, they keep going.  They keep taking action.  They learn from setbacks and failures and change their tactics.  

Most people recognize the name Richard Branson.  He and a few friends founded the now mega-company known as Virgin.  It might surprise people to know that Sir Richard Branson had numerous failures that financially devastated him.  Rather than quitting and just taking a job, however, he kept going.  He harnessed talent and was bold in his approach to life and business.  He expected success, he demanded what was required of himself, and he eventually set things in motion that made him a fortune.

Thomas Edison failed in his attempts to produce the light bulb thousands of times.  Yet we use it every day now, largely without even thinking about it.  He expected success.  He didn't care about failure, he wanted success and demanded it of himself.

George Washington spent a large part of The Revolutionary War fleeing from superior forces.  The colonists and their fledgling army was no match for superior British finances, manpower, and organization.  Yet some strategic negotiations and careful planning produced an end result that created a nation.  And what a nation it is!  Failure preceded victory in the USA's struggle for independence many many times.

Danielle Steele completed several novels that were never publsihed, before finally having a successful publication.  Now she is a bestselling novelist.

JK Rowling wrote the Harry Potter book, The Philosopher's Stone when she was on welfare.  She is now a billionaire!

These are but a few examples, but clearly failure has preceded success in all of these cases.  The people involved focused on doing what they loved, expected to succeed, and refused to accept failure as the final result.

Think only of success.  Believe in it.  Do what you need to do to succeed, and you will.  ◄

Time and again it's been proven a good attitude is a key to success or failure. It is your mind-set.

Your good outlook brings your best into your life. But a bad mind-set keeps you scraping bottom. A bad, sour and negative outlook keeps you pecking at life like a farm chicken all your life.

But you can decide if you want to be a scratching chicken or a soaring eagle.

It is a fact many people who had little talent, no real formal education or no privileged start overcame all obstacles on their way to becoming super successes. All achievers win because of their way of behaving.

Where are you headed anyway?... How to find the real you and right direction

Are you pointing yourself in the right direction?

All your successes start with your mind pointed in your best direction. Your best direction is toward your purpose in life.

Your great point of view opens your eyes to your best direction to take. You see more opportunities and focus on your best possibilities.

A journey of a 1,000 miles starts with your first step.

Your first step is to possess a great attitude. Believing in your abilities means you're going to go places you could only dream of before. This is not easy nor can you do it every minute of your day... but if you see yourself having a good attitude you will most of the time.

You must not focus on what can't happen. You concentrate on what can be. This alone makes all the difference in your world for your successes.

A stance of shameless persistence leads you to prosperity. Over time this kind of persistence helps you crush your obstacles.

A healthy way of thinking defeats mistakes, failure and becoming dejection. With a great way of believing you keep your mistakes in perspective. Your failures teach and toughen you and can lead to success your next time out. And discouragement disappears if you keep your mind pointed in your right direction.
